- everyone gets the same secret word — except the fake artist, who only knows the category.
- take turns adding exactly one line to the shared drawing. lift your finger and your turn is over.
- draw enough to prove you know the word, but not so much that the fake can work it out.
- after the last line, vote for the fake. catch them and they get one guess at the word to steal the win.
