how to play category blitz online
- everyone gets the same letter and the same list of categories. fill in an answer for each one that starts with that letter before the clock runs out.
- then the answers come up one category at a time. tap the thumbs down on any that don't fit. if more than half of the other players agree, it's out.
- an answer nobody else wrote scores 100. if someone wrote the same thing, neither of you scores, so think different! matching is generous: plurals, uk/us spellings, synonyms (sofa = couch) and one-letter typos all count as the same answer.
- bonus: +50 for every extra word that starts with the letter, like "big brown bear" for b (up to +100 per answer).
quick tip: Avoid the obvious first word everyone writes — duplicate answers cancel out while clever alliterations score bonus points!
