how to play connections race online
- everyone gets the same 16 words, hiding four groups of four. pick four that you think belong together and submit.
- right: the group locks in. wrong: you lose one of your four mistakes. "one away…" means three of the four were right.
- watch out for words that seem to fit more than one group. the purple group is usually the sneaky one.
- every group you find scores 100 to 250 (trickier colours score more).
- find all four and you also score for accuracy (200 with no mistakes, 100 with one, 50 with two) and up to 300 for speed. first to finish gets another 100.
quick tip: Spot traps where five words seem to fit one group — solve the most specific category first to clear ambiguity!
