how to play wikirace online

  1. everyone starts on the same wikipedia page and races to the same target page. say, from pizza to the moon.
  2. the only way to move is clicking links inside the article. no search! going back works, but counts as a click.
  3. you can see how many clicks everyone has made, but not where they are. everyone's route is shown at the end.
  4. reaching the target is worth 400. The route bonus starts at 300 and drops by 40 for each extra click after the first (minimum zero); speed adds up to 200, first place adds 100, and second place adds 50. Give-ups and unfinished routes score zero.

quick tip: Reach the target to score. Keep your route short: the route bonus starts at 300 and drops by 40 per extra click after the first; speed adds up to 200.
