How many people can play Code Link?
Competitive teams support 4–16 players. Cooperative Duet is designed for 2–3 players.
Code Link is a fast Codenames-inspired word game: rival teams connect clues to words on a shared 5×5 board while only each Spymaster can see their private key. Duet keeps both side boards visible as 2–3 players rotate clue-givers; only the current clue-giver sees that side’s map.
quick tip: Spymasters: connect several words with one clue without accidentally pointing at the assassin. Operatives: agree on a plan, but use the early-pass button when the next guess feels risky.

No. The server returns each competitive key only to the two Spymasters, and Duet only returns the current side’s map to that turn’s clue-giver. The key is revealed to everyone once the game ends.

Rotate clue-givers, uncover all 15 agents within nine clue turns, and avoid the three assassins on either side.
